You found this page most likely because you are considering having your wedding in Aberdeen or somewhere else in Scotland. Most likely its your first time planning a wedding. Most likely you have ended up mind-numbingly scrolling Google with a cocktail in hand and no idea on where to start this whole planning thing. I’d love to be the one to help you out! I’ve shot a lot of weddings and can assist with any planning needs you may have. 

My style is raw emotion meets adventure meets great light meets the great outdoors. From intimate interactions and big moments to various pieces of décor and architecture. From castles to mountains or open fields or maybe just that simple style in town. Your best girlfriends busting out their dance moves to those bad tunes from the 2000s, granny and grandad tearing up as they watch your first dance, wide smiles and those squinty eyes you only get from big hugs as your family and friends wrap you up in their arms. What is important to you? That is what is important to me. The real stuff. Not the “event” stuff - the reason for the event: your love and the people who love you. 

I am Jennifer MacDonald (Jenny), a detail-orientated, documentary style photographer that laughs (too) loudly, dances with you all night long, and provides wedding photography for Aberdeen, Scottish elopements and across Melbourne. Yes I am a wedding photographer, I see myself as a storyteller. I want every single photo to feel natural, every moment to feel raw and emotional. I want you to look at your wedding images and re-live every moment!
And given my love for nature and photography, it’ll probably come as no surprise to you that Aberdeen is one of my favourite places for photography and weddings. 

You're next question is why should I choose someone who doesn't live in Aberdeen all the time, how do I trust this person... Well my family has always been in Aberdeen it's just sometimes life takes a turn and you end up in different places. You may have heard of McLoed and Aitken or Langstane Press? Those companies are in my family and trusted across Aberdeenshire and Scotland. I am from the mean streets of the deen haha! I went to college then I went to Napier in Edinburgh. I know all the good spots, I'm always out adventuring. 
OK so you want to book me but you're not getting married in Summer, I know that sucks because I'm ace (yes I said ace it's still 1995 right?) I'm so sorry I cannot accommodate out of those dates, but you can always ask I love coming home so if you really want me to be there I'll find a way to make it happen!!
